When I grew up debt was something you wanted to pay off and get rid of but it doesn’t function that way today:)  For the physicians they are going to fix and help you (so where have we heard this before, they all say that:) and the video below gives you an overview.  I am talking a little in jest here but there’s a number of around 20% quoted in the video and with all the talk about upcoding and so forth it’s important to remember that when using consultants that’s what they look for, ways to save money and be efficient and ways to gain  money and be efficient on steroids. 


On the distribution side not a lot different there than with most other than the brands they represent and they deliver to the homes of patients and doctors offices.  Less than a month ago McKesson bought MED3000 which is a Health IT technology company and McKesson has been in the Health IT business for many years.  BD

As a result of this transaction announcement, PSS World Medical has cancelled its fiscal year 2013 second quarter conference call scheduled for today.
